Destination boutique bowling alley
This timeless institution in San Francisco was given a facelift keeping the charm of the neighborhood with a modern twist. A new bar was installed with space for a small dance floor and DJ booth, as well as an intimate seating area in the back. Waste was reduced by reusing salvaged material from the original bar including the floor and bar stools.
Mission Bowling Club
With the guidance of Matt Hollis Architects, Molly Bradshaw, and Summer Peterson took their creative vision and turned an empty shell into a regulation six-lane bowling alley offering automatic scoring and leather sofas. MBC is a destination for celebrations of all types, including birthdays, corporate outings, holiday parties, and weddings.
Mission Bowling Club holds a special place in our hearts as we assisted the owners through the whole process from scouting the best available location to designing the bar and exterior patio.
A fine example of our ability to work with specialized subcontractors and designers are the bowling lanes themselves. There are only a few bowling lane installation firms in the US. Coordination between us and specialty trades require attention to the smallest detail with seamless communication.
